Returns & Refunds
New Parts: Stock items may be returned for full credit within 30 days of receipt of shipment if:
- (a) The item has not been mounted on the machine.
- (b) The item is returned in the original packaging.
- (c) The item is returned in its original undamaged condition.
- (d) The item was in stock at the time of purchase.
Special-order items may be non-refundable, or may have a restocking fee.
Used Parts: Sometimes the only way to troubleshoot a problem is trial and error. If a customer buys a used part and it does not fix the problem, the customer may return the working part for full refund. CNC Parts Dept., Inc. will not pay shipping on trial and error items.
Important: All returns and exchanges must have an RMA number. Contact us to quickly receive an RMA number. This number should be written on the outside of the box. Returns or exchanges received without an RMA number will be sent back to the customer unopened.
Warranty
New parts: New items carry the manufacturer’s warranty. In most cases, a replacement will be sent out at full price, and a credit will be given when the defective unit is returned and is determined to be defective.
Used parts: CNC Parts Dept has no control over factory conditions, such as electrical spikes, abusive operators, etc. For that reason, we can only guarantee items will work upon installation. If you receive an item that does not work, please call (858) 922-4967 for installation support. Many items need to be tuned in to your machine. CNC Parts Dept will pay for return ground shipping if we determine a used part is defective.
Repair-Exchange
Noted items are eligible for a partial credit if the old, broken item is returned. Upon purchase, we charge the full amount. When you return your old, broken part, we will refund the indicated amount. Exchange parts must appear to be repairable. CNC Parts Dept reserves the right to refuse any physically damaged, crushed, or otherwise cannibalized exchange parts. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label with any items eligible for a core return.
Damaged Goods
CNC Parts Dept., Inc. insures all shipments, but items may still be damaged in shipping. If an item arrives at your facility in a broken box, you must start a claim with UPS, Fedex, or the appropriate delivery company. CNC Parts Dept. will not take returns on any damaged goods until a report has been generated by the shipping company. We will do our best to ship a similar part to you while this is happening, so that production can continue. We recommend you take lots of pictures of the outside of the box and any damage. Handle the item as little as possible so that UPS can see the damage is from shipping, and not from mishandling of the item in your facility.
